Day 1

FRIDAY    7-10pm

The weekend begins with our professional panel of industry leaders with a focus on developing a career as an on-camera personality. Afterwards, Shannon O’Dowd will be introducing the curriculum for Day 2 of the workshop and the optional Day 3 sessions on Sunday. She will also be doing some initial branding exercises. Finally, enjoy mixing with the speakers and other students while enjoying refreshments.

Day 2

SATURDAY    8-6pm

The day begins with a delicious breakfast buffet from 8-9am. Training begins promptly at 9am and goes to 12pm. At noon, a 30 minute “working lunch" will be served. Training continues until 6pm with a 15 minute break at 3pm. There will be optional 30 min private coaching sessions available to book with Shannon from 7-10pm as well as a chance to work on your reel footage scripts (optional item for Sunday) with expert members of our staff from 7-10pm.

SATURDAY    7-10pm

After the dinner break, those who have registered for the Day 3 Video Shoot will spend time with Shannon to co-create their segments and to memorize their scripts, in preparation for the studio on Sunday.


SUNDAY    Time blocks booked from 9-6pm

All of the Day 3 sessions are optional add-ons to the main workshop. In order for you to participate in the Day 3 sessions, you will need to purchase the Day 1 & 2 On-Camera Workshop ticket.

Professional Video Shoot: 3 Video pieces
Green screen video shoot will provide three broadcast-quality footage clips to add to your existing hosting or expert reel. This is great opportunity to take advantage of this workshop! Three (3) videos are at the flat rate of $697.

Below are examples of finished footage pieces that can be edited to your desired style and look. Optional video editing service can be purchased if you need backgrounds, graphics, etc. for $397. Video editing can be completed as early as 7-10 business days, depending on the complexity.

Where do I get tickets to On-Camera Workshop?

Tickets sell fast - so be sure get them by clicking the Register link on our website.

Does the workshop or other sessions have limited seating?

There is limited seating - so sign up soon! If you are purchasing the optional Video Shoot session, there is a limited amount of students – up to 15 people.

What should I bring to On-Camera Workshop?

Besides an amazing attitude 😉 A notebook, something to write with or even your laptop or tablet.

Can I record the workshop training or sessions?

Even though that may seem okay, it's not. We don't allow audio or video recordings of the workshop training.

As an attendee of On-Camera Workshop, will I get a discount on hotel accommodations?

Yes - the single king bedroom is currently $212 per night and can be booked here. There is a 15% occupancy tax and 9.5% CA retail tax.

Do I need to purchase Day 1 & 2 in order to purchase any of the sessions on Day 3?

Yes! The training provided on Day 1 & 2 is a prerequisite to what you will learn on Day 3 - especially the Video Shoot.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?

Tickets are non-refundable, however they are transferable up until 12 months from the purchase date.
